Every fighter has his/her specialty, but assume all are great and well-rounded fighters, cross-trained in the arts of boxing, kicking, blocking, wrestling, escaping, submitting, and more.  It’s not like the boxer doesn’t know how to wrestle, or like the freestyle wrestler doesn’t know how to strike. They all do, and well beyond an amateur level.

All of these fighters were created with specific countries of origin in mind and in some cases, specific likenesses.  However, we’ve made a conscious choice not to write out bios for the fighters because we think it’s important that players use their imaginations and create their own narratives.  In terms of birthplace, fight record, etc. each fighter is who you want him or her to be, not who we want him or her to be.

The number 12 is a homage to Epic Duels.  The original game came with 12 main characters, 6 light and 6 dark.  We have 12 too, 6 male, middle weights, and 6 female, light weights.  We plan to introduce Heavy Weights some time in the future.
