I feel like if you’re a gamer long enough, sooner or later you play Munchkin or Star Munckin, or some derivative of the game. You might have or might not have had fun when you played. The original Munchkin brings fantasy role-playing into more of a beer-and-pretzel, monster-slaying fun romp and Steve Jackson is one of my all-time favorite game designers. Star Munchkin does the same but with a space theme. In all, you build your character by adding cards you encounter into various slots for weapons, armor, headgear, etc. boardgamegeek.com needs nearly 3 pages of links to cover all of Munchkin’s expansions, which tells you something about its popularity and how deep you can go into this game. For my own experience, it only comes out once in a while, which is fine with me.
