D10.  Draw a card.

1x WHISTLING BIRDS
The Mandalorian does 2 damage to all adjacent major characters and 5 damage to all adjacent minor characters.

The Child – 3 cards

2x FORCE POWERS
A4/D4.  If used as an attack, the player controlling the defending character loses an action on his next turn. If used as defense, draw a card.

1x FORCE HEAL
The Child recovers 4 damage, or choose a character adjacent to the Child to recover 4 damage.

Comments:

  • In a past iteration, I mentioned that “it’s hard for a Yellow deck without Power D to exchange blows with anyone”.  Well, this version has Power D so now that’s an option for this player, and exchanging blows is basically what you’re looking to do.  You’ve got to get attacking and drawing cards and get involved that way.  I think his Beskar Armor is the main thing about the Mando, who is kind of immobile but super durable.  So I don’t know if this “immobile tank” will work but I want to try it.
  • I’m sure he looks tough and he probably is.  If he’s Tier 2, that’s quite ok with me and I’m pretty sure he isn’t Tier 1 with his Yellow+ deck, lack of movement and weak minor.  He does nothing to control or influence the game, he just dishes out damage and soaks it up but doesn’t do either of those things as well as some other decks.

Option 2 uses IG-11 as the minor and the following cards:

3x I LIKE THOSE ODDS
A4.  If the target is a minor character, then playing this card does not count as an action.

2x SNIPER RIFLE
A6.  After attacking, move The Mandalorian up to 4 spaces.

2x CABLE SHOT
WRIST CABLE does 3 damage to one character The Mandalorian can attack.  Then you may move that character adjacent to The Mandalorian.

1x FLAMETHROWER
Do 3 damage to a character adjacent to The Mandalorian.  Then you may move that character up to 3 spaces.

1x WHISTLING BIRDS
The Mandalorian does 2 damage to all adjacent major characters and 5 damage to all adjacent minor characters.

IG-11 – 4 cards

3x BRISTLING WITH GUNS
A4.  After attacking, IG-11 does 2 damage to all other characters he can attack.

1x TERMINATE ASSET
A8.  If target character is not destroyed then IG-11 is destroyed.

This one is more of a standard deck with a standard minor.  It has an edge against minor characters and sort of “hunt” ability built into it that lets you take a single character out of the game by delivering 6 unblockable damage and letting you move him to an unfavorable position near you.  That might be a Negative Play Experience but it’s here if you’d rather play that version.
