This started with a deck for Unmatched by Geektopia fan Matt W, and I ended up overriding a Mando & IG-11 deck I had been building with some ideas from the Unmatched deck.
What does this deck do: Defends very well for a shooter, and “collects bounties” for playing the right attacks in the right order.
The Mandalorian & Child
“Strong–” ranged minor deck (“Strong minus minus;” 2x A3D1 replaces 2x A4D1 for 4x A3D1, and melee for The Child)
The Mandalorian – 8 cards
3x I CAN BRING YOU IN WARM
A4. If this attack is defended, draw 2 cards.
2x OR I CAN BRING YOU IN COLD
A6. If you destroy the defending character, draw 3 cards.
1x THIS IS THE WAY
A9. Move the Mandalorian up to 8 spaces.
2x BESKAR ARMOR
D5*. If The Child is alive, draw a card.
*If you already have a BESKAR ARMOR in your draw pile, the defense value is 10.
1x WHISTLING BIRDS
The Mandalorian does 3 damage to all adjacent major characters and 6 damage to all adjacent minor characters.
The Child – 3 cards
2x FORCE POWERS
A4/D4. If used as an attack, the player controlling the defending character loses an action on his next turn.
1x FORCE HEAL
The Child moves up to 4 spaces. Then the Child recovers 4 damage, or choose a character adjacent to the Child to recover 4 damage.
