It’s quick, and it escalates quickly, with easy-to-understand mechanics that allow a new player to jump right in, but enough subtlety to keep experienced players engaged. Along with its nice bit of strategy is its simple but great components. Using poker chips as the money supply gives the whole game a very nice feel in your hands. That, coupled with a simple yet strategic game makes it a great warmup, but good enough to play more than once.
