Thank you so much for your interest Iago. I’m glad the game found its way to you, it’s still the best MMA board game 🙂

At one time, I had a “Heavyweight Expansion” with a Chuck Liddell type in mind, but unfortunately there are no plans for expansions or a more complex game. It would be easy enough to create your own fighters though, which I’m happy to discuss with you here or boardgamegeek.

Hello! I enjoyed Cage Match! a lot. I think this action x action system is great for a MMA game. Do you guys still think about releasing an expansion or something like that?

This game have so much potential. I read somewhere that you guys decided to make some sacrifices so that the game could be fast paced. I’m curious to see how the game would be if it was less focused on being fast paced, but more complex.

I’m a huge mma fan and would love to see a more complex combat system.

Even though this game is good, all I can think about is how better it could’ve been!

I’ve played BRW many times but the rules keep changing so it’s hard to tell you which magic school I like the best anymore. I’ve played the version where you build the lodge instead of destroy it, and then the version where you do some building and some destruction.

We are into strategy heavy games but ironically the game we discuss most, Epic Duels, is super casual.

In reply to Ashanark. Keep the ideas coming! I love your suggestions on Luke & Yoda, but I'm not too keen to make any changes to this one. I would encourage you to make those tweaks yourself, just get a pen and write on the cards. I have seen them play a key role in team victories enough to not want to change them. I guess it depends who their opponent is, but I have seen them as pretty tough to bring down, tough to carve through all 28 hit points when spread across 4 characters all with decent defense. As you observed, they're not supposed to be very strong and are there to make you laugh as much as anything, but they have enough ways to threaten you with direct damage and high attacks.
